We are always searching for seasoned Production Managers and Coordinators for various freelance contract positions. As Production Manager or Coordinator, you will work directly with the staff producers / account managers, and provide assistance and support to them.
Production management and coordination assistance for broadcast DRTV and DR Radio commercials, and DR online campaigns.
Day-to-day support to the staff producers / account managers.
Production management and coordination of logistics, including crew and equipment bookings, casting, location and studio scouting and booking, shoot preparation, wardrobe, on-set assistance in various capacities, researching and booking post facilities, versioning, close captioning, trafficking to stations, etc.
Production office support and coordination.
Assist with developing and controlling timelines and budgets.
Providing proactive service throughout the life of the campaign.
Provide regular ongoing communication and status reports to the staff producers / account managers.
Provide regular ongoing communication with the creative and production team, and the media team.
Hands-on production experience, managing or coordinating television broadcast commercials and programs.
Experience with radio commercial production and online campaigns.
A strong team player.

Excellent negotiating skills.
Critical thinker/problem-solver.
Client account management experience is an asset.
Short-form and long-form direct response experience is an asset.
Ad agency experience is an asset.
Travel to the U.S. and within Canada may be required for this role. Candidate should have a valid Canadian passport.
